Below is some “content heavy” info regarding some of the ins and outs of buying a car from a different state. It mainly references what we do to help, but the inof shoudl be the same for any trusted dealer. Perhaps you landed here because you would like to buy one from us, perhaps you were researching buying it elsewhere and google referred you here to us. Either way, please be sure to consider the first option and let us help. If we do not have the New Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, or Ram on the ground that you want we have great relationships with other dealers and can attempt to locate one for you. If there is not one on the ground, we might have one in transit or we can assist you with a factory order, with possible discounts and rebates available that will make it worth your wait. We also own 4 other MOPAR dealerships and a Ford store so we can check there for both New and Used options that suit your needs.
When you drive home a new car for sale in Wisconsin, likely the first question you’ll have is how to register it in my state of residency. And thankfully, putting your license plate on a vehicle taken over state lines is completely done for you, or only requires a few pieces of documentation and a trip to the DMV:
Whether you live in Wisconsin or some other state, the process is the same. Every consumer gets the discounted price listed on our website or that will be negotiated if market conditions dictate we may need to adjust our price. For New purchases your rebates are based off of the ZIP code you will title the vehicle in. Our website lists what we call the “Denver Business Center” rebates as we are part of that market. Once we know your ZIP code we can run the report that will tell us what your market has available for you!
Every purchase at Bernard’s has a $249 Services Fee to cover all in-house expenses. Your local state and county tax along with any applicable fees that all consumers pay are the only extraneous amounts you will pay beyond the purchase price of your new car, truck, van, or SUV should you choose to buy in Wisconsin. So don’t fret about spending any extra dollars for buying here – the process is likely identical to registering a new car from down the block. (you will probably spend no less time taking care of this than you would otherwise!)
We have an entire page that explains just some of the advantages of buying and servicing at Bernard’s Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of New Richmond, WI.
