I came to Bernard's after a horrible experience at a large dealer in the Twin Cities. My parents have boughten cars at Bernard's for decades and have always been happy with the service and the cars. I needed an AWD minivan and found the perfect van. It had everything I wanted. I worked with Ken and he held the car for a couple days so I could get there to check it out. I drove it and it was a great deal. Low miles, newer, AWD and room for my family. The price was great when compared to similar vehicles in the metro area. The purchasing experience was so easy. I love the car and it was given to me clean, and with a full tank of gas. That may sound like a given but the dealer in the Twin Cities gave me a car on empty telling me you have to buy new to get a full tank of gas. Even though I live an hour away from New Richmond, I will gladly drive there for repairs to not deal with the headaches I had with the last dealer. Thank you Ken for treating me and my husband with respect and for making us feel confident in our purchase.

I can't tell you how grateful I am for this follow up. Original Post: We bought a used vehicle about 8 months ago, and purchased a warranty that was supposed to cover "anything mechanical". I took the car into my regular mechanic to check the brakes and get an oil change. They found some other issues that needed to be taken care of and were confident my warranty would cover at least some of the costs, because of the nature of the repairs. The warranty company denied everything. My mechanic is appealing the decision, but the bottom line is I'm probably out $3,000 on a vehicle purchased less than a year ago and will be making monthly payments on a warranty that is, apparently, pretty much worthless. This isn't a reflection on Bernard's, except that they may want to rethink the warranty companies with whom they do business.

Bernard’s is everything you want in a car dealership—no pressure, small‑town friendly, and genuinely helpful. I bought my truck about a month ago, and they’ve been fantastic both during and after the sale. Mark was amazing to work with, as was everyone we met. He even stayed late for us and was always helpful over the phone, no matter the time of day. If I had to give one “con,” it’s that another dealer in Hudson technically had better popcorn… but their sales team wasn’t great. I can’t say enough good things about Bernard’s. Yesterday morning my car started having issues. I spent hours calling multiple dealerships trying to get an appointment and a loaner vehicle, and every place told me they were fully booked and couldn’t help. I’ve been a customer at Bernard’s since 2018, and although I didn’t call them first because I was out of town and there were closer options, I eventually reached out. From the moment I spoke with them, the difference was clear. While they weren’t initially sure a loaner would be available, I explained my situation and they told me that if I could make it to the dealership, they would make something work. I drove over an hour to get there and when I arrived, they already had a loaner car waiting for me, ready to go. As someone who works full time and has children who need transportation to and from school, having a reliable vehicle is essential. The staff at Bernard’s were incredibly welcoming, efficient, and genuinely caring. They went above and beyond when they absolutely didn’t have to, and that level of customer service is rare. I’m truly impressed by the high-quality service and loyalty Bernard’s shows to their customers. The Best Dealership I've ever bought a vehicle from. Chase was my salesman whom helped me from the start todate. This Dealership takes great care of there customers also after the purchase surprised with a Ram Hat to.

We drove 1hr 30min to this specific dodge dealership from our home town of Elk River to pick up the 2025 dodge hornet. I purchased a 2022 Ram 1500 a while back from Bernard's. I'd been looking at a lot of dealers. Some were good. One was downright unscrupulous. But from the moment I walked in the door at Bernard's and was warmly greeted by the owner (who humbly didn't even identify himself as the owner), Bernard's appeared to be different. The purchase and the service I've received since then has been nothing short of exceptional. From the sales staff (I worked with Mark Flatton), to financing, to the service department--all have been top notch. The atmosphere at Bernard's is laid-back, friendly, and genuine. Parker was very kind, easy to work with, had good communication, and allowed me to ask all the questions when searching for our Jeep! (We upgraded from a 2006 and I may be young, but there are lots of new buttons!) Matthew was great at explaining all the things finance wise (warranties, packages, add-ons) as well as making it an easy going process, we did not feel pressured during any of time working with them- we were given all the beneficial information and we could make the best choice for what fit our needs. 5 stars are not enough for this place!! Got a flat tire over the weekend and called to several places trying to get my car in before I called here. The service department and Part department were amazing to work with!! They were able to get me in and get a tire put on that day! They didnt try to upsell me on anything that i didnt need and understood that I was only trying to get my car back as I live in Eau Claire and it important i got it back ASAP. They were super friendly and super helpful. I cant thank them enough! They will definitely be worth the drive whenever I need work done on my car or when im back in the market! This year, I bought a new Jeep and a new Pacifica. They really do a good job here, making you feel like you belong. I had a lot of questions and can be kinda hard, but they handled it all like professionals. Mark is a really great guy. The financing lady is so fun as well. Oh, then I found the oil change packages are exceptional and I got my boss to buy them for the work vehicles. I'm glad Bernards is still in our community setting the standard.
