Although both SUVs also have USB ports, the Ford Explorer only has two of them while the Dodge Durango has four. Similarly, each vehicle has an infotainment touchscreen, but the one in the Ford SUV measures just eight inches while the touchscreen in the Dodge Durango is 8.4 inches long. 

While the Dodge Durango is eligible for wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ connectivity, the Ford Explorer isn’t. You can add a 19-speaker stereo to the Dodge Durango, but options for the Ford Explorer are capped with a 14-speaker sound system.
